Description This publication provides information about the initial steps to take to clean up, document, and report a small spill of hazardous substances to soil immediately following its discovery. Successful cleanups during Ecology’s Initial Investigation review period can prevent listing a property on the Confirmed and Suspected Contaminated Sites list.
The mission of the Department of Ecology is to protect, preserve, and enhance Washington’s environment. To help us meet that goal, please consider the environment before you print or request a copy.
