Description This document was developed for rulemaking AO#19-02, to amend several sections of Chapter 173-201A WAC - Water Quality Standards for Surface Waters of the State of Washington. Amendments include: changes to numeric criteria for total dissolved gas (TDG) in the Snake and Columbia rivers, amending specific sections of the rule to meet legal obligations in a 2018 Stipulated Order of Dismissal, and clarifying the descriptions of marine water aquatic life use designations. The Concise Explanatory Statement provides a summary of the rulemaking and Ecology's response to comments received on the proposed rule language for the rule amendment to Chapter 173-201A WAC.
