Author(s) Aquatic Species Restoration Plan Steering Committee
Description The Aquatic Species Restoration Plan (ASRP) is the component of the Chehalis Basin Strategy that focuses on habitat restoration and protection. The ASRP Steering Committee has used data, research and analyses to develop a plan that seeks to design and encourage implementation of actions needed to protect and preserve important aquatic species and habitats; restore degraded ecosystems, reconnect habitat, and restore habitat-forming processes; re establish natural ecosystem processes resilient to climate change and other human actions, and foster organizations needed to implement and maintain the ASRP over the long term. The plan is focused on aquatic and semi-aquatic species and their habitats throughout the Chehalis Basin.
NOTES This is the result of Phase 1 of a 3 Phase planning process. There will be Phase 2 materials and Phase 3 materials available later this biennium.
