Description The Community Flood Assistance and Resilience Program (CFAR) is a new element of the Chehalis Basin Strategy. CFAR is being developed to fund a wide range of small-scale projects and actions that will reduce damage from flooding and erosion in communities throughout the Basin. This focus sheet describes the types of technical support available through CFAR to local and tribal governments in the basin. It also describes how to request technical support, initial program time lines, and how to access information related to identifying opportunities for future access to financial assistance.
