Description The Washington Department of Ecology (Ecology) has been working with the Grays Harbor Historical Seaport Authority (GHHSA) since 2014 to help them take steps toward cleaning up the Weyerhaeuser Sawmill Aberdeen site. GHHSA plans to clean up the site to create a local and regional recreation and tourism destination and a homeport for the Lady Washington tall ship. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency State Response Program grant partially funds Ecology staff time for providing technical assistance.
