Description | In 2022, Ecology and Mother Africa met to discuss a project that could equip communities in Washington with information and resources to protect themselves and their families from harmful chemicals in their self-care products. Mother Africa and Ecology partnered to host a series of workshops as a pilot project. The workshops used a community-centered and culturally relevant approach to engage African and Middle Eastern immigrant and refugee communities who may face disproportionate exposure to harmful chemicals in personal care products. | ||||
