Description Ecology entered into an Agreed Order on January 17, 2024, with 7730 202nd Street, LLC (Owner), the Potentially Liable Person (PLP) for the Maralco cleanup site (Site) at 7730 S 202nd Street in Kent. The Agreed Order is a legal document that requires the Owner to address contamination at the Site. Ecology requests your input on the Interim Action Work Plan – Phase 2 Removal Action, which describes how cleanup of contamination will be conducted at the Site. The Phase 2 Interim Action focuses on the removal of waste material that remains on the Site after the Phase 1 Interim Action was completed. The known areas of contaminated soil will be removed from the ditches and waste material and contaminated soil will be removed from areas where facility wastes were previously stockpiled. The contaminated waste will be taken to a permitted landfill facility. The work will be conducted during property redevelopment activities.
