Author(s) Toxics Cleanup Program
Description Ecology reviewed post-cleanup site conditions and monitoring data to ensure human health and the environment are being protected at the Cheney Super Stop Lots 8 & 9 cleanup site. We conduct periodic reviews about every five years. This former service station and city vehicle maintenance facility has been cleaned up and redeveloped into a multi-family housing complex. Soil and groundwater were contaminated with petroleum and metals. Our review found the cleanup remains effective and paved surfaces covering the remaining soil contamination are in good condition.
