| Description | In 2019, the Washington State Legislature directed Washington Department of Ecology, in consultation with Washington Department of Health, to implement a regulatory program to reduce toxic chemicals in consumer products (Chapter 70A.350 RCW). The program, called Safer Products for Washington, is implemented through a four-phase cycle that repeats every five years. This legislative report is an overview of our Phase 3 draft regulatory determinations for priority chemicals and products as part of Cycle 2. A separate report provides technical documentation to support this legislative report. |
