Description | This study is the result of a request by the Property Management, Department of Highways, seeking information about present and future ground-water availability and the possible adverse effects incurred by the construction of the SR 405 freeway. The scope of the study was set to include several determinations which are: Ascertain the availability of ground-water at the present site, determine direction of ground-water flow, determine if possible damage to the well by nearby highway construction. The study consisted of a general geologic reconnaissance of the area and the collection of a water sample for a bacteriological examination. |
