Description A Class II Inspection was conducted in October 1992 at the Yakima Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Yakima facility provides secondary treatment of domestic wastewater for the city of Yakima and adjoining urban areas. It also applies untreated wastewater from several food processing plants to sprayfields located along the Yakima River. Inspection data found that Yakima was providing adequate treatment for most pollutants limited by the NPDES permit.
