Description Guidebook discusses local erosion processes and shoreline development policies and practices. This book was developed and tested on Whidbey and Camano Islands in Washington state, but it is generally applicable to other non-bedrock bluff shorelines around Puget Sound, the Strait of Georgia, and the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
The mission of the Department of Ecology is to protect, preserve, and enhance Washington’s environment. To help us meet that goal, please consider the environment before you print or request a copy.
