Description This document is an Inadvertent Discovery Plan (IDP). This plan is required in the event of an unanticipated discovery of human remains, historic or prehistoric resources. It provides directions for on-site project staff on what to if, who to contact, and how to secure an area, if ground disturbing activities unearth an unanticipated discovery. Use of this protocol reduces risk and liability. This plan is required at the project site at all times. A copy of the completed IDP plan must be uploaded to our Administration of Grants and Loans (EAGL) system and a copy provided to your Ecology Project Manager.
REQUEST A COPY The mission of the Department of Ecology is to protect, preserve, and enhance Washington’s environment. To help us meet that goal, please consider the environment before you print or request a copy.
