Description Ecology invites the public to comment on a new Agreed Order for the Port of Vancouver Cadet/Swan (port), NuStar Terminals Services, Inc., (NuStar) and Kinder Morgan Bulk Terminals LLC., (KMBT) site.

Due to historic land use and industrial practices, soil, groundwater and sediment are contaminated with Trichloroethylene (TCE) and Tetrachloroethylene (PCE). Groundwater is also contaminated with copper, nitrate, ammonia and other metals. It has not been determined if these contaminants are present in soil or sediment.

The presence of these materials can be harmful to human health and the environment, so cleanup is important.
The mission of the Department of Ecology is to protect, preserve, and enhance Washington’s environment. To help us meet that goal, please consider the environment before you print or request a copy.

ADA Accessibility
The Department of Ecology is committed to providing people with disabilities access to information and services by meeting or exceeding the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and Washington State Policy #188.
