Description | This is the August 2012 version of the Stormwater Management Manual for Western Washington (SWMMWW). The objective of this manual is to provide guidance on the measures necessary to control the quantity and quality of stormwater produced by new development and redevelopment such that they comply with water quality standards and contribute to the protection of beneficial uses of the receiving waters. The 2001 SWMMWW was a revision of the Stormwater Management Manual for the Puget Sound Basin (published in 1992). Ecology revised the SWMMWW in February 2005 and in August 2012. The 2001 version and subsequent versions of the SWMMWW contain five volumes. Under “Related Publications” below there are links to Volume I of the 2001 SWMMWW and 2005 SWMMWW, and the 1992 Stormwater Management Manual for the Puget Sound. |
