Description | The Washington State Department of Ecology Toxics Cleanup Program (TCP) is responsible for identifying and remediating sites impacted by hazardous substances. In 2018 TCP commissioned a study that defined environmental effects–based concentrations for aquatic organisms exposed to total petroleum hydrocarbons. The goal of this follow-up study is to establish effects-based concentrations (no observed effect concentration and lowest observed effect concentration) for aquatic organisms in freshwater and marine waters contaminated with weathered diesel-range organics. This QAPP addendum details the recovery and screening of contaminated groundwater for use in the toxicity tests. | ||||
