| Description | The Toxics Cleanup Program (TCP) at the Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) offers “remedial action” grants to local governments to help clean up contaminated sites and provide safe drinking water. Two of these grants are “Area-wide groundwater contamination” and “Safe Drinking Water Action grants.” This brief focus sheet outlines the funding limits for each grant, and provides examples of eligible activities. The information helps local governments choose which grant to apply for when contamination affects their community’s groundwater or sources of drinking water. | ||||
