The Auction Public Proceeds Report is issued four weeks after the March 2024 auction held under Washington's cap-and-invest program, established by the Climate Commitment Act. This report includes information regarding proceeds generated by the State of Washington from the sale of emissions allowances, as well as revenue generated by natural gas and electric utilities through allowance consignment. |
