Background
Lovrics Sea Craft Inc, (currently operating as Stabbert Marine & Industrial) site is a waterfront site in Anacortes that is a marine ship repair and maintenance facility. The site was initially developed as a fish canning and processing facility by at least the early 1910s. The property was purchased by the Lovric family in the mid-1960s, and the site has since operated as a shipyard and marina.
Status
In 2019, the site was added to Ecology’s Confirmed and Suspected Contaminated Sites List following a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit sediment sampling activity. Analytical results were above the Sediment Management Standards for some chemical compounds.
