The Site is the former location of a 1,000-gallon heavy oil tank, a 1,000-gallon gasoline tank, and a 1,200-gallon diesel tank, as well as two cement tanks with used oil. In December 1993, the tanks were removed.
It was reported that approximately 2,000 yards of contaminated soil was excavated. Excavated soil was placed on plastic sheeting at the Site. Soil samples showed TPH concentrations above MTCA cleanup levels for soil. Groundwater was not encountered during excavation.
