Wondrack Distributing Rudkin Rd
Facility Site ID:

Cleanup Site ID:

The site was the location of a fuel distributor. In April 1995, two 8,000-gallon diesel underground storage tanks (USTs) were removed. These USTs were located at the north side of the building identified as the truck wash.
Petroleum contaminated soil was observed during the excavation and approximately 97 cubic yards of contaminated soil were excavated. The excavation extended to 14 feet below ground surface (bgs) and groundwater was not encountered.
In February 2000, a Phase II site assessment was conducted by sampling five test pits situated in the approximate locations of the former tanks. The sample excavations extended to 8 feet bgs in the area of the former waste oil tanks and to 12 feet bgs in the area of the former diesel tanks. Analytical results showed concentrations of heavy oil and diesel below the Model Toxics Control Act (MCTA) Method A soil cleanup levels current at the time of the VCP review of the cleanup action.
Based upon cleanup activities, Ecology has determined the site is no longer a threat to human health and the environment. Ecology made a no further action determination in May 2000.
