Description | The Lead Chemical Action Plan (CAP) was developed by the Washington Department of Ecology (Ecology) with the valuable help of the Department of Health (DOH) and other agencies and representatives of numerous interests across the state. The purpose of a CAP is to identify the dangers of lead, detail where this substance can be found in our environment and recommend ways to reduce its harm. The Lead CAP is a plan; it is not a new law or regulation. | ||||
