Description | The Department of Ecology and the Port of Vancouver are closing four groundwater treatment wells and 12 evaluation wells in the Fruit Valley Neighborhood. These wells were installed after contamination was discovered at the Cadet Manufacturing property and in groundwater beneath the Fruit Valley Neighborhood. Cadet and the Port used the treatment wells to reduce contamination levels in groundwater. Only one treatment well is still in operation.
