| Description | Ecology’s Toxics Cleanup Program has entered into an agreed order with Washington State Department of Corrections (WA DOC), requiring WA DOC to implement a cleanup action plan at the Washington State Penitentiary at 1313 N. 13th Street, Walla Walla, Washington. The cleanup action plan addresses volatile organic compounds and metals in soil and groundwater that are from an on-site landfill and former dry cleaning facility. The draft agreed order, cleanup action plan, State Environmental Policy Act checklist and amended Public Participation Plan are available for public review and comment before becoming final.
