| Description | The Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) is proposing to remove the former Truck City Truck Stop (Site) from the Hazardous Sites List. The Site is located at 3216 Old Highway 99 S, Mount Vernon, Washington. Ecology has determined that the cleanup effort at the Site meets the requirements of state Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) cleanup regulations. Concentrations of chemicals of concern in soil and ground water at the Site have been confirmed to no longer pose a threat to human health and the environment. Therefore, Ecology proposes to remove the Site from the Hazardous Sites List. Ecology seeks your input. You are invited to review the following documents: • Final Cleanup Report • Draft Satisfaction of Prospective Purchaser Consent Decree • No Further Action letter Send your written comments to Dale Myers at dale.myers@ecy.wa.gov or USA mail to 3190 160th Avenue S.E., Bellevue, WA 98008.
