| Description | We developed this Public Participation Plan (PPP) in cooperation with Whatcom County Parks & Recreation. This plan is for environmental cleanup of Plantation Rifle Range, located at 5102 Samish Way, in Bellingham, Washington. The PPP describes how we involve the public in investigating contamination and selecting cleanup activities during the cleanup process. We encourage the public to: • Learn about and get involved in decision-making opportunities. • Provide input during the investigation and cleanup of contamination. Public participation activities are coordinated between Whatcom County Parks & Recreation and Ecology. We will hold public comment periods and other public outreach during the cleanup process. |
