Description | The Washington State Department of Ecology is developing standardized methods called “model remedies” to clean up contaminated sites. Model remedies can help streamline and accelerate the pace of cleanups. This guidance document (often referred to as “Model Remedies for Soils”) discusses seven model remedies for sites that have only petroleum-contaminated soil. A note about this revision: This guidance was originally published as a draft in April 2015 and later revised in August 2017. It was finalized in December 2017 based on comments received during a public comment period from mid-August 2017 through September 22, 2017. |
