Shi Shi Beach, Olympic National Park

Beach Notes
  • The Makah Tribe requires a Recreational Use Permit for all nonresident motor vehicles entering the Makah Nation for recreation purposes. This permit may be purchased at many locations throughout town. Visitors that have official business with the Tribe, or who purchase a Makah Fishing Permit, receive a complimentary permit. For more information call 360-645-3213
  • Shi Shi is the northern-most of the Olympia National Park beach.
  • The trailhead to Shi Shi beach is in Makah tribal land, 2 miles south of Neah Bay.
  • Trail is 3.5 mile to the beach. Camping is allowed on the beach.
