Description The Department of Ecology (Ecology) conducted an interim assessment of stormwater outfall monitoring data collected by Washington’s NPDES Phase I Municipal Stormwater Permit holders. Collectively, the Phase I permittees’ S8.D stormwater monitoring data represent a large discharge data set unique to western Washington. Permittees monitored for pollutants from four land uses (industrial, commercial, high-density residential, and low-density residential) between 2007 and 2012.

Approximately one-half of the permittee-collected data was provided for this project; therefore, only an interim assessment was possible. As such, this project focused on setting up the tools and tests that will be used in the final analysis. Statistical summaries are provided for parameters with enough detections and sample numbers. A complete compilation of the Phase I S8.D outfall monitoring data is planned for 2014, after final data are reported to Ecology.

Appendix D is the second pdf above.
