Description Portions of the Deschutes River, Capitol Lake, and Budd Inlet do not meet the water quality standards and are on the Clean Water Act Section 303(d) list of impaired waters. The Department of Ecology and partners have been developing a water cleanup plan. Ecology previously published monitoring and modeling analyses that identify how much human activities contribute to these impairments. This report summarizes supplemental modeling analyses for Budd Inlet and Capitol Lake that were identified by and discussed with stakeholders as potential management actions in 2012-2013. The future Water Quality Improvement Report for Budd Inlet and Capitol Lake will establish numeric load and wasteload allocations needed to meet water quality standards.
