The Site operated as a gasoline station and convenience store.
In March 1995, three underground storage tanks were removed. Product lines were purged and capped in place.
Petroleum impacted soils were found in the area of the fuel island. Excavated soils that were showed contamination above the MTCA cleanup levels were transported to Lower Valley Remediation for treatment and disposal.
Soil and groundwater samples taken in February 1998 around the perimeter of the property, in areas of former contamination onsite, and across the street indicate contamination above MTCA cleanup levels on and offsite in soil and groundwater.
