Ecology received the Remedial Progress Report on February 6, 2020.  Ecology issued an Opinion letter on February 26, 2020.  The Site is currently an operating gas station facility and convenience store located in Bremerton, Washington.

Site Remediation Activities

In 1997, petroleum hydrocarbons and BTEX above MTCA Method A cleanup levels were found in soil samples collected from the Underground Storage Tank (UST) basin and beneath the product lines and pump islands at the Site.  The contaminated soil was removed, and in 2011 a soil vapor extraction system was installed to remediate remaining impacted soil.  Confirmation sampling and analysis of soil have continued at the Site.

·       Gasoline Range Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH-G) and Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Xylenes (BTEX) into PsPPinto the Soil.
